About

I've enjoyed photography since I was 9 and bought my first camera at the neighborhood drug store. I also like to walk/hike, and combining those activities has turned into a source of year-round enjoyment and a great way to stay in shape.  Whenever I can I lace up my boots, strap on my gear, and walk out the door to spend the day hiking and shooting in a variety of settings and terrain.  I love being out and about.

While out I often cross paths with people curious about my equipment, so we chat a bit and I answer questions about what I shoot (birds mostly, but almost anything that draws my attention is fair game), if I'm a professional photographer (no, I just love to shoot) and so on.  The question most often asked - and know is coming - is "Do you have a web site or are your pictures posted somewhere??"

My reluctant answer to that has been "No...not yet".  A full day of shooting leads to a lot of images that need processing and categorizing.  Life has other responsibilities, so putting together a web site has been "coming soon" but not today. Sound familiar?

For those of you that stop and ask I can now smile and say, "Yes...yes I do!"  I might even have a business card to give you with the web site.  Soon. But not today.

In the meantime I continue to hike and shoot, discover more subjects that pique my curiosity, and refine my photography, so would love to update this site as I go.

I welcome your comments and questions.  And if you are in the Edmonds, WA area, I'll likely be on foot with my gear, taking pictures and chatting with those curious about what I'm up to.  If so, stop me and say hi!
