Edmonds waterfront. Gulls and other birds constantly harass eagles, hawks and osprey in the area - and for good reason.
More harassing, this time by a couple birds
This shot, with the Olympic mountains in the background, is one of my favorites. It also appears on the cover of the 2018 Edmonds Chamber of Commerce directory.
This eagle swooped down and picked up a salmon for breakfast.

After a successful hunt, this resident eagle pair rest on rock bulkhead on the waterfront.
On the hunt. Both the male and female eagle joined in.
The male dove three times trying to capture a goldeneye, on a very windy day. It refused to drop nesting material in its talons until the last dive.

It's sometimes difficult to view hunts, but that is part of nature.
Eide Road. Lots of Harriers and Short Eared Owls are here, however the area is being dredged to re-direct drainage, which takes away hunting habitat for these birds.

This owl snagged a vole(?), then landed facing me on a nearby branch. It then proceeded to finish it off as I shot pics. Was it showing off??
